This policy describes how I, Adam Raugh, handle information collected through adamraugh.com and any applications, tools, or services I operate under this domain, including the calendar application at calendar.adamraugh.com (together, the "Services"). I run these Services as an individual, not as a company. I keep this policy short and plain because that is how I would want to read it.
Information I collect
Contact form
If you use the contact form on this site, I receive the name, email address, and message you enter. Submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to my email. I use this information only to respond to you.
Google account information
The application at calendar.adamraugh.com lets you sign in with your Google account. When you do, Google shares your basic profile information with the application: your name, email address, and profile picture. I use this to identify you within the application and nothing else.
Google Calendar data
If calendar.adamraugh.com requests access to your Google Calendar and you grant it, the application can read and, where you have authorized it, create or modify calendar events on your behalf. This data is used solely to provide the calendar features of that application. It is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with anyone else.
Technical information
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log standard technical details such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps as part of serving and securing the site. I do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on adamraugh.com.
How I use information
I use the information described above to operate the Services, respond to messages, and provide the features you have asked for. I do not sell personal information. I do not use it for advertising. I do not use Google user data to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
Google API Services User Data Policy
My use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- Google user data is only used to provide or improve user-facing features of the application that requested it.
- Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with prior notice to you.
- Google user data is not used for serving advertisements.
- Humans do not read Google user data unless you have given explicit consent for a specific piece of data, it is necessary for security purposes, it is required to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Sharing
I share information only with the service providers needed to run the Services: Formspree (contact form delivery), Cloudflare (hosting), and Google (authentication and Calendar APIs). Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. I may also disclose information if required by law.
Storage and retention
Contact form messages are kept in my email for as long as I need them to respond and follow up. Google account information and Calendar data are retained only as long as needed to provide the application features you are using. When you revoke access or ask me to delete your data, I remove it from any systems I control within 30 days.
Your choices
You can revoke an application's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops the application from reading or writing any further data. You can also email me to ask what information I hold about you or to request its deletion.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect the information I hold, including using HTTPS across the Services and relying on established providers for hosting, authentication, and form handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
